AECOM is one of Ireland’s leading building and infrastructure consultancies with a legacy in Ireland of more than 150 years.

In that time, we have become trusted partners to Ireland’s key public sector organisations and private companies and a respected industry voice known for our annual thought leadership and market intelligence reports.

Tapping into our global and all-Ireland talent pool, we are helping to deliver the country’s vital new buildings and infrastructure – enriching communities, increasing climate resilience, and contributing to sustainable growth.

We offer multi-disciplinary expertise across a full infrastructure portfolio spanning water, environment, energy, transport, aviation, active travel, buildings and places.

As integration specialists, our strength lies in our programmatic approach and the global technical excellence, digital and sustainability expertise we bring across the full project lifecycle.

Here’s how we are delivering a better world in Ireland

Through our long-standing client relationships, we are proud to be involved in many of Ireland’s strategically important projects – those designed to enhance people’s quality of life and contribute to national net zero carbon goals.

Well-known for our transport planning expertise, our work is advancing the shift towards multimodal, more sustainable travel across the island of Ireland. For instance, we have an active role in the National Cycle Network and BusConnects, the overhaul of the bus networks in Dublin and Cork.

New homes, education and health facilities are urgently needed to meet the needs of Ireland’s growing population. We work on many residential schemes across the country, as well as facilities such as surgical hubs in Galway, Cork, Limerick and Waterford as well as the University of Galway’s Campus of the Future. Elsewhere, we are helping deliver facilities for global corporate clients particularly in the data centre and pharmaceutical sectors.

With biodiversity loss, climate change, energy security, and net zero a key business and national concern, we are increasingly engaged in supporting organisations to adapt, whether that is reporting on sustainability performance through EU Taxonomy, helping our built environment clients cut carbon emissions or providing climate guidance to major public sector organisations.

Much of our work contributes to safeguarding Ireland’s natural assets. We support Uisce Éireann, Ireland’s public water utility, to provide safe, clean drinking water and protect water bodies and related ecosystems through wastewater management treatment services. In addition to this, we are also one of Ireland’s leading ground remediation experts.

As the scale of the nation’s ambitions continues to grow, we remain committed to bringing the best of our multidisciplinary business to our clients to solve future delivery and sustainability challenges, collaborating closely with our cross-border and global colleagues to deliver a better world in Ireland.
